Do you know that under your human flesh you are a perfect spirit being? Yes, that’s right! When you believed in Jesus, you became a new and perfect spirit. You’re not a sinner anymore!
The Bible says,
“So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now! This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” 2 Corinthians 5:16-17 NLT
Unfortunately, many Christians STILL focus on the human flesh!
The FLESH-CONSCIOUS Christian says,
“I must obey God’s laws
I will forsake sin to be righteous
I am a flawed human being trying to do better
God is pleased when I do good works
I am blessed when I do good!”
The FLESH-CONSCIOUS Christian ends up burdened with many DEMANDS and says,
“I love God
I will serve God
I must do more and fill my time with good deeds
There are many things to do now
I must care for the bodily needs of others
I must get other Christians to help
The demands are pressing
I must work hard to be blessed!”
Friend, obey the Bible and stop evaluating yourself and others from a human point of view!
You don’t see Jesus as human – you know he is a Spirit. The Bible says you must see yourself as a spirit too!
“For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.” John 4:24 NLT
The SPIRIT-CONSCIOUS Christian worships God in truth, saying,
“Jesus has fulfilled God’s laws
I receive the gift of righteousness
I am a perfect spirit being
God is always pleased with me
I am blessed because I am always righteous in Christ Jesus!”
The SPIRIT-CONSCIOUS Christian ends up flowing with unceasing SUPPLY and says,
“God loves me
I will listen to Jesus in the Bible
I must do less and make space to commune with God
There is one thing to do first
I must learn about the Father through Jesus his Son
I must join the Christians sitting at Jesus’ feet
The supply is overflowing
I will receive blessings to meet every need!”
Dear friend, be a SPIRIT-CONSCIOUS Christian today, and see God’s SUPPLY of blessings flow to the righteous!
