Jesus my Shepherd

Are you feeling lost and don’t know which way to go? Do you feel like a helpless lamb that may be eaten up at any time? Sounds like you need a shepherd – his name is JESUS!

The bible teaches that we’re all like lost and wandering sheep, but Jesus came to us and made himself our SHEPHERD.

Jesus said “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep.” Remember we talked about Jesus your Sacrifice yesterday? When you’re about to be hurt, even for something bad you have done, remember that Jesus your Shepherd sacrificed himself to be hurt and killed for your sake!

The bible describes how Jesus your Shepherd protects you: “He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in his arms, holding them close to his heart.”

Do you know that Jesus your Shepherd also promised that no one will be able to snatch you out of his hands? As a lamb in his arms, you’ll always be 100% safe!

Jesus your Shepherd also promises to lead you in good pathways, to good places. He promises to be with you in every dark and dangerous place. That’s what good shepherds do.

The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.
He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.
He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.
Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me.

Finally, Jesus your Shepherd declared that he wants to give you a rich and satisfying life. And he promised that this life will last forever!

Friend, Jesus is your Shepherd, and he will never leave you or forsake you. He will give you direction for your next steps, and he will lead you into a good life that lasts forever.

Say with me, “Dear Jesus, I love you so much. You are my Good Shepherd. Thank you for taking care of me. I have nothing to fear while I rest in your arms!”

Everything we’ve said is from the bible!
