You are a success because of who’s WITH you, not who you ARE! Remember the story of Joseph in the Bible, and how he was sent to a faraway country against his own will?
“But the Lord was with Joseph, and he [though a slave] was a successful and prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all that he did to flourish and succeed in his hand.” Genesis 39:2-3 AMPC
Joseph was penniless and all alone in a distant country. He was in an unenviable position, yet the Bible calls him SUCCESSFUL and PROSPEROUS!
How could that be?
The Lord was WITH Joseph – that’s what made him a success! It was the PRESENCE of the Lord that made him successful, even though he owned nothing and had the lowest rank in society.
So how do you think Joseph’s master found out that the Lord was with him?
The Bible says the Lord made ALL that he DID to flourish and succeed IN HIS HAND! Even though Joseph knew that the Lord’s presence with him made him successful, he chose to be a faithful servant and work hard.
His WORK provided the Lord with the opportunity to BLESS EVERYTHING that he did. At first, only Joseph knew he was successful, but now everyone else could see!
The Lord’s presence was EVIDENCED by the good results from Joseph’s WORK!
Dear friend, are you born again? Then the Lord is with you, and YOU are ALREADY a successful and prosperous person!
So go out and serve well, whatever your circumstance, and just like Joseph, others will SEE THAT THE LORD IS WITH YOU, and everything that you do shall prosper in your hand!
Dear Lord,
Forgive us for thinking that we can be successful in our own strength… Lord we confess that we need you to be truly successful, every day and in every situation!
We believe that your Spirit never leaves us and is always IN us and WITH us, and Lord, because you are with us, we are the most successful people on earth!
Lord, we want to measure ourselves by your standards… that we are successful only because of your presence that is with us.
So we humbly declare by faith that we are successful, and you will cause everything we do to prosper in our hands!
