Believe, and Receive

Believe, and Receive!

For the Scriptures tell us, “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” People are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners. [Romans 4:3, 5 NLT]

What could stop you from receiving the righteousness that God gives freely as a gift?

You don’t see God?

You haven’t seen Jesus in person?

You question if the Bible is the one and only truth?

You wonder how a person can just receive righteousness and become instantly perfect before God?

The Bible says, “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” [2 Corinthians 5:21 NIV]

Friend, you must first believe that God is real and everything written in his word is true. You must choose to believe that only through Jesus you become the righteousness of God.

Jesus said, “Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.” [John 20:29 NLT]

Will you believe Jesus?

Dear friend, when you believe, you receive. Faith is you reaching out to take the gift of righteousness.

Today, believe – and receive!
